With purchase sharing, one adult in your Family Sharing group agrees to pay for any purchases from the App Store, iTunes Store and Apple Books. You can then see and download your family members' purchases from your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, Apple TV and PC, and enjoy them too.* Follow the steps below to download family members' purchases to your device, and learn where to find those purchases if you can't see them.
How to download previous purchases from family members
When purchase sharing is turned on for your family, you can see and download items from each family member's purchase history. You can download music, films, TV programmes and books on up to 10 of your devices, 5 of which can be computers. You can download apps to any devices that you own or control.
To share the books purchased from the iBooks store you would have to use the same iTunes account. From there, after clicking on the iBooks app, you would have to click on Store. Another way to download the book again without purchasing it again would be by searching the title of the book under the Search. From there you would type the title. But I had so many in my library I’d been gifted or just hadn’t listened to yet. I had to go through everything in iOS Books, compare to those in Books for Mac and then manually download into Audible all those that didn’t migrate over. 94 books so far, because Apple can’t play.
